More detail on how the map works
To give you guys an idea of how i made the camera i will show you our code so you gives can make your own if you want. The way it works is we have two cameras set up in the scene one being the character camera and the other one facing directly down on the world looking it is a map. It is a simple code we gain access to the cameras in the scene and then on the button down we switch which camera is on, so as one is on the other is off.
It is simple but works well and there is no need to complicate anything, i am actually really happy with the code it deals it purpose with out being over bearing on the game in complexities.
