Sounds suspicious
After Id applied more sounds to objects I needed to think about the games environment and which ambient noises you could expect to hear in a place like the New Mexico desert, I managed to find some clips of the wind blowing along with some bugs chirping that I felt added ambiance. I added these into the area, increased their maximum hearing distance and then adjusted the volume and sound priority. This really helped give the area a more "alive" feeling.
The uni gave us a tutorial on how to use Adobe Audition which was greatly appreciated, especially as I was going to be in charge of the games voice acting as well as general sound design.
